Meet the Staff:

Mrs. Novotny has undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Delaware and is taking courses to become a School Library Media Specialist.  She has been a teacher in the Smyrna School District for over 20 years.  She is married to a former UD football captain and has two children and a cat.  She is thrilled to finally be living her dream of being a librarian.

 Mrs. Melvin has worked 12 years at the SES library.  She has been married for 27 years and has one son and two dogs.  She enjoys riding a Harley with her husband in her free time.  She wants kids to have fun in the library because reading is FUN!

Mrs. Terhune is a recent addition to our library. She has three sons in the Smyrna School District. The Terhune family is active in Boy Scouts.
