Scoring practice papers online NWREL-There is ABSOLUTELY no better way to understand the 6+1 TraitTM Writing analytical model than to USE it yourself. Everyone agrees, the more papers you read, assess, and discuss the deeper and richer becomes your understanding of the scoring guide and specifically of its components. It's simple and worth every minute spent practicing.

The student writing sample papers are organized by trait, score, and grade level. The student sample papers are scored on all traits except presentation.
